Auto mode: let TextCortex choose a model
Not sure which model to choose? Select Auto and TextCortex will pick an eligible model for your conversation based on your request and the models available to your account. The selected model stays the same for the rest of that conversation.
Give colleagues a first task, right inside your agent
A shared agent can leave a new teammate wondering what to type.
Agent owners can now set up to 3 starter questions or quick actions in the agent editor, and colleagues can click one to send it immediately from a new web chat.
Use them to show the tasks the agent's built for. Owners can also set its starting effort level and Thinking mode, while teammates keep their manual chat choices.
New models beyond Astra
Access: Models require enterprise admin opt-in and is not available to end users by default.
Your team's text and image work doesn't always call for the same model. September brings GPT-6 Luna, GPT-6.1 Sol, Gemini 3.6 Flash's EU tenant route, and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash with Germany-hosted enterprise routing, and GPT Image 2.5 for generating and editing images.
Connect custom tools with your provider sign-in
Connecting a custom tool shouldn't always mean hunting down an API key. Where enabled, custom MCP servers now offer provider sign-in, and saved servers have their own connector cards to inspect, enable in a chat, or remove.
Server requirement: You'll need a compatible, hosted MCP server, ideally an official server maintained by the app provider. OAuth sign-in alone isn't enough: the app must also offer an MCP endpoint that TextCortex can connect to.
Let your agent work in your browser (Beta)
Access: Browser use is opt-in and disabled by default for end users. An enterprise admin must enable it before team members can toggle it on.
Some tasks still need clicks and typing on a website you're already signed into. Browser Use lets your agent read and interact with an approved Chrome tab through the TextCortex extension.
Your agent works in a separate tab. You can stop it at any time by simply taking control of that tab.
Safety: The agent can never type passwords, payment details, or one-time codes.
Extension required: You'll need the TextCortex browser extension installed. The broader-access change is merged, but production rollout and extension-store availability still need confirmation before a general-availability announcement.
What we're currently working on
Agent Tool Enforcement
We're working on agent tool enforcement, giving owners a way to limit each shared agent to the tools they configure. When enabled, teammates won't be able to add/remove other tools, such as Web Search, email connectors, or custom MCP servers. This setting can be found under "Capabilities" in the agent editor.
Agent Version History
Changing a shared agent shouldn't mean keeping duplicates just in case. We're working on agent version history, so owners can browse earlier configurations, name versions, and restore a previous setup.
