Note: Box integration provides Knowledge Base Integration for file syncing. No MCP Server is currently available.
Setup Instructions
Prerequisites
Required:
- Box account (personal or enterprise)
- Access to Box files/folders you want to sync
- TextCortex account
Permissions Needed:
- root_readwrite - Read all files and folders stored in Box (❗required by Box)
How To Connect Box Account

Navigate to Integrations
- Go to: Knowledge Bases → Integrations
- Find the "Box" card
- Click "Connect Box"

Authorize Access
- Review permissions (read access to files)
- Click "Start authorisation"
- Sign in with your Box account
- Consent to permissions
- You'll be redirected back to TextCortex
- ✅ Box account connected

Select Files and Folders
- Browse your Box to select content
- Choose specific files or entire folders (multiple selections allowed)
- Click "Add selected items"

Enable Integration
- Wait until the integration is synced
- Ensure that files are in the knowledge base
- ✅ Setup complete - Box content is in your knowledge base
Common Issues & Solutions

1. Go to Knowledge Base → Integrations → Box
2. Click"Connect Box"again
3. Re-authorize access
