We are pleased to introduce our Microsoft OneDrive integration, which provides you with a hassle-free way to connect your existing data to your knowledge base.
With this feature, your AI copilot can work seamlessly with your knowledge while extracting the necessary information you need with references to your files.
How to connect your Microsoft OneDrive?
- Step 1: In the main chat interface, you either can click on the small paperclip and then on "Connect integrations" to select 'OneDrive Business'...
... or click on "Knowledge" and then on "Connect your Knowledge" to start connecting your OneDrive Business.
You will be asked to select your integration location and then you will be redirected to the selected knowledge base to finalize the integration.
-
Step 2: Request Access (Enterprise Users)
If you're in an enterprise organization:
- Click Send Request for Admin Approval
- Your organization admin will receive a notification
- Wait for admin approval (you'll be notified via email)
- Proceed to Step 3 once approved
- Step 3: Grant TextCortex the necessary permissions to import your files.
- Step 4: After allowing relevant permissions, you will be able to select which files/folders you'd like to import.
Once the status column turns to "Active," your files will be ready for use.
OneDrive Business with SharePoint Site Files & Folders
This section displays additional source options such as SharePoint Sites for your OneDrive Business connection.
After making your selections, you'll be prompted to enter your organization's tenant information.
Only paste the prefix (bold part below) into the Organization tenant field
It looks like this: https://yourcompanyname-my.sharepoint.com/
The "Force ask for consent" selection redirects you back to the permissions authorization page. This option is particularly helpful in the following scenarios:
- When existing permissions have been revoked by an administrator
- If current authorization tokens have expired or become invalid
- When you need to refresh or update access permissions for your SharePoint connection
Once you've entered the tenant information, you can proceed with the authorization process and follow the subsequent configuration steps.
Finally, the OneDrive file selector will also show files and folders that come from your SharePoint sites.
How to sync files/folders?
To sync the content of the files, navigate to the "Active Integrations" tab within your knowledge base, and click on the "Sync" button. If there has been an update inside the files, the content will be updated quickly and effectively.
We hope that the OneDrive integration will make data management more efficient for you. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
