Why do I need an organization?
Organizations streamline knowledge management within their teams through facilitated sharing of knowledge bases, brand personas, and other important information. Ensuring everyone has sufficient access to relevant knowledge and personas enables effective communication between team members and customers alike.
In a world where collaboration and teamwork have become essential for success, having a centralized platform to efficiently manage files and users is crucial.
In this quick guide, we'll delve into the process of setting up an organization within your TextCortex account and the ways in which this feature can enhance your work process!
Create your first organization
1. Head over to our app (https://app.textcortex.com/) and click on "My Organizations" on the sidebar on the left side of your screen.
2. Click on "+New".
3. Choose a name for your Organization, add a description and then click on "Done".
4. Your Organization has been created! Now you can share Brand Personas and Knowledge Bases with your team in a co-working space that will help you all stay organized & up to date with the most relevant information!
Invite members to your organization
To add new members to your organization, click on "Invite members".
In the "Members" section of your organization, you will have an overview of your team and each member's role and plan.
Once you invite someone, they will receive an email notification that will also pop up on their own TextCortex account (if they own one).
Once they accept, they will become an active member of your organization!
Purchase & assign seats
Navigate to the Plan & Billing section of your organization and click on "Upgrade" to initiate the checkout.
Proceed with selecting a plan for your team & number of seats you want to have.
Once you have purchased your preferred plan, you will be able to click on "Manage seats" and assign it to each individual member of your organization.
If you'd like to assign a different plan to specific members, you would have to purchase it separately and go through the checkout process once more.
